Sarah’s Class Week 2 Term 4

Dear Parents,

 We’ve had some seriously good play rehearsals this week with some children already memorising their lines. It always astounds me how quickly they start to remember. Some costumes have also been started, so we’re well on our way. Thanks to Steve (Eli’s dad) who has kindly offered to take over the baton from Jess Poole to volunteer as our audio person. 

The group had a terrific lesson with Bec (in drama) on Monday who will be supporting the children over the weeks with their confidence to get into ‘character’ and most importantly, to project their voice.

Also this week we looked at properties of 2D shapes and learnt how to draw some 3D shapes. Archana was with the group on Thursday and she covered different types of lines. They looked at the difference between intersecting, parallel and perpendicular.

It was so good to get back into the pool this week to begin our final Term’s swim program. 

This week (as previously mentioned) I will be taking my elders to the Sydney Dance Company on Tuesday and Archana will be with the younger group. On Wednesday, I will be away at a PD course and Pepper will be here.
