Enrol at Currambena

Your Step-by-Step Guide to Joining Our Learning Community

Primary Enrolment Process

Embarking on your child's educational journey with Currambena begins with a comprehensive understanding of our enrolment steps:

Step 1: Attend an Information Morning: these are designed to provide prospective families with an immersive experience into the Currambena community.

Step 2: Submit an Expression of Interest: After attending an Information Morning, the next step is to submit an EOI form.

Step 3: Enrolment Interview: Upon reviewing your EOI, our enrolment team will reach out to schedule an enrolment interview to discuss the educational journey and curriculum.

Step 4: Offer of Placement: Based on the interview and available spots, successful applicants will receive a formal offer of placement.

Step 5: Orientation and Commencement: Attend the scheduled orientation where your child can meet their peers, teachers, and familiarise themselves with the school environment.

Preschool Enrolment Process

For families interested in enrolling their child in preschool, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete a Currambena Waitlist Form Waitlist Form | Currambena Preschool | 205 Longueville Rd, Lane Cove

Please note, there is a minimum 5-day a fortnight enrolment and priority is given to children who turn 4 by July 31st of the calendar year they are enrolled in.

Completing the waitlist form does not guarantee your child a place in the preschool. Should you need to contact our preschool, please send an email to katrinaA@currambena.nsw.edu.au.

Step 2: Enrolment Process & Timeline: preschool enrolment for the following year begins in August/September of each year. Offers are also made throughout the year when vacancies arise.

Step 3: Attend an Information Morning: it is mandatory you have attended an information morning before the process of enrolment can commence. There is a scheduled whole school information morning once a term, as well as impromptu preschool information mornings being held as demand requires.

Step 4: Immunisation Requirement: The Public Health Act requires that all children who attend preschool from January 2018 be immunised. Children who cannot be fully vaccinated due to a medical condition or who are on a recognised catch-up schedule will still be able to enrol upon presentation of the appropriate form signed by a medical practitioner.
