Wendy’s Group Week 1 Term 3

I hope everyone had a marvellous holiday and feels well and refreshed after the break.

Thank you so much to the Maintenance Team for the sweeping and cobweb removal around our room! It was lovely to have this done for us and it looks great.

A short week to settle in with and the children are already well into some of our usual activities. PIPs have been started, textbooks checked, art projects in train and, of course, quite a lot of excitement about our trip to Canberra in Week 4! Thank you to the families who have already returned the permission form and paid for this trip. Please speak to me or email if there are any difficulties with this.

We have some wonderful events to look forward to this term, apart from the Canberra trip! The Philosophy evening for parents, Book Week, Wear it Purple Day, Jump Rope for Heart, Summerhill Day and …. Currambena’s 55th birthday bash! Our group is also hoping to go to a Trampoline Park for one week’s PE, so a full term ahead. We also welcome a student teacher from Macquarie Uni who is starting next week. She will be with us for five weeks starting from Monday 19th August, straight after we return from Canberra.

Also starting next week… PARENT INTERVIEWS. There will be a timetable on my door. Available times are 8 am Monday to Friday (morning times) and 3, 3:30 and 4 pm on Tuesday to Friday (afternoon times). No interviews on Tuesday 6th since I will be away at a course. I would love to complete all interviews before we go to Canberra but this might be a little optimistic! Please come and sign up or email me and I will sign up for you. Thanks!
