The Ladybirds Week 7 Term 4

Hi everyone,

This week we continued developing our English writing and reading skills. We have been using readers (special books that support reading development) during class time to practise reading fluency and comprehension.

In maths, we began exploring ordinal numbers. We created a class Advent calendar to count down the final weeks of school. On Thursday, with Faith, the children designed an obstacle course, took turns completing the circuit, and then mapped out the obstacles, labelling each one with its ordinal number.

On Wednesday afternoon, with Joanna, they read Stick Man and completed some creative activities inspired by the story.

A big thank you to Joanna and Faith for taking the group while I was on camp. While I had a great time, I missed the Ladybirds very much and am excited to see everyone on Monday!
