Our daughter’s journey before finding this school was incredibly difficult in the  public school  system . Between the bullying and the fear, she was absolutely terrified of the school environment. To see her now—proudly and confidently walking through the gates and running off to join her friends—is a transformation that is truly beyond words. It has been a life-changing experience for her and our entire family.

Coming from another country, finding your “village” is everything. We have been welcomed with such open arms, and it has meant the world to feel like we truly belong. We’ve loved how the parents are encouraged to be involved. There are so many volunteer opportunities that allow us to stay connected to the community, and the kids absolutely love seeing their parents on campus.

Our daughter started at Currambena part way through year 3 and was made to feel welcome and part of the community from her very first day. The teachers are calm and caring and respect the children for the very ones they are. Academics are taught in engaging ways, and independent thinking and life skills are promoted and encouraged. This is a school that values and embraces each and every child and we are grateful we found this very special place.
