School Meeting (Friday – 23/8/25)

Start of School Meeting: 9:50am

My Scythe by Otto
- Asking the group for permission to have his Scythe at school as part of his book week costume.
  - Jess added her Axe for her costume.
    - School Vote: Agreed to allow weapons for costumes but needs to be kept under teachers desk post parade.
Jump Rope by Grace
- Reminder about Jump Rope for Heart. Make sure to sign up and get skipping! The school had already raised some money towards our goal.
Rocks by Wendy
- The rocks down near the swing have been moved. If anyone knows anything about that please let Wendy know.
Pirate Day by Meg
- The Ladybirds have a Pirate day coming up next week (Wednesday) and would like permission to make swords and other pirate themed items in craft.
  - School vote: Agreed to allow the Ladybirds to create swords in craft on Wednesday for their Pirate Day.
Welcome Bella by Rome and Audrea
- Welcome to the new prac student Bella who will be in Sarah’s Class completing her final teaching placement.
Buy a book by Wendy
- Reminder about the book stall in the staffroom from 2:30-3:30pm.
Disco by Kai
- Wondering if there is interest in having an end of year disco party. Group to organise and details to be discussed further later.
  - School Interest Vote: Majority interested in having a school disco to celebrate the end of the year.
Wear it Purple Day by Jess
- Wear it Purple Day is next Friday, are we interested in celebrating it?
  - School vote: Yes.
