School Meeting Minutes – Term 2 – Week 7

Chaired by Isabella and Sebie from Sarah’s group

• Handball by Sarah: Sarah reminded everybody to be more encouraging and supportive when playing handball. Some children are using ‘put-downs’ and chanting unkind words when trying to get others out of the game.
• Sharing food by Grace: Grace from Amelia’s reminded everyone not to share food because some children have allergies.
• Tree House Rope by Amelia: Amelia reminded us all to not hang onto or swing the rope hanging down when someone else is on it. Someone got hurt because this was happening.
• Mini Concert by Wendy: Wendy reminded us about the mini concert happening on Tuesday, 25th June in her room. If any one is interested in performing please let her know asap.
• Welcome to Anna by Anika: Preschool wants to welcome Anna who has started working at Currambena.
• Summerhill Day by Sarah: Sarah just wanted to say there was such a lovely vibe in the school on Tuesday during Summerhill Day.
• Red hand ball by Amelia: Amelia mentioned her class were missing a ball. Please ask the teachers of your class for a ball and be the only one who returns it. This will help us keep better track of who has them.
