Sarah’s Group Week 5 Term 4

“Hello everybody, how are we today?”

Well, that’s a rap…. a concert rap, that is!!! We hope you enjoyed our class play and all other class performances. Congratulations to everybody for a fabulous night. Thanks to everybody who helped support the children with costume-making and props, especially Zio (Crafty’s friend). Thanks to Nate for choreographing some of our B-girl and B-boy’s moves and cutting the music tracks. Thanks also to Jess Poole for putting it all together on the night, and thanks especially to the children who worked so hard at rehearsing, day after day, over the last 5 weeks. That’s it for another year… Phew!

CAMP: As you can imagine, the concert preparation took a lot of time over this week, but we did manage a discussion about camp. I informed the children who was driving them there and back, we went over the activities, meals, packing list, room allocation and we made some camp agreements. On Monday, we’ll vote on what 2 movies we’ll watch and I said the children could bring chips and/or popcorn to share each night during the movie. Just a reminder that the children will need their morning tea and lunch on the Wednesday. I’m sure you will but please make sure you check off everything on the packing list I sent home. It says on the list to bring a pillow case but I have suggested the children bring their own pillow including a soft toy and a book, if they wish.

Monday is our turn to return to Lane Cove library, so please return all books.
