Sarah’s Class Week 10 Term 1

Helloooooo…. and we’ve finally made it to the end of our first term together!

As you are aware the week wrapped up with some amazing project presentations. The standard for this first term was so high and it showcased the children’s motivation, enthusiasm and love of learning. As I had previously mentioned each and every group were dedicated and supportive of each other and this was also highlighted during their presentations. For those of you who were able to make it we hope it was enjoyable. The children completed a reflection on their projects and it was pleasing to read how they felt ‘proud’, ‘excited’ and ‘happy’ with their effort.

For our last day, we watched “The Lorax” which was a very befitting end to the term given that we started the year reading this Dr Seuss story and then dove into the world – literally! Learning about the importance of TREES and how we can help the earth, even in small ways, like composting and recycling and building a worm farm and reusing materials and discovering more about the impact us humans have on our planet.

Thanks, to you who have been a support throughout the term. I wish you a very safe and happy holiday and look forward to the return our return in Term 2.

Love, Sarah
