Return of the Loch Ness Monster!
Hello Currambena Community
Last term we were offered the opportunity to showcase our Loch Ness Monster Lantern in the Lane Cove River Festival. They have not only approved it but will advertise it as the main attraction to close the festival. Next week we have artists coming to rebuild and repaper the lantern with the students.
We will be refloating the lantern at a new location (TBC) on the Lane Cove River on Friday the 14th of November. We realise this falls on the same date of the camping weekend planned. We are excited for both, and ask families who are not going camping to come and be a part of this event. Like the first lantern event, children are invited to bring their own lanterns to join in or just come to listen to some music and watch.
Due to daylight savings, this will be later in the night when it is dark, from 7-9pm.
We are really excited to share our artwork with the rest of the Lane Cove community and would love to see many Currambena families there to celebrate.
Thank you,
Chris
