Preschool News Week 5 Term 4

Hello everyone,

It’s been a busy week, mostly filled with preparations for Friday’s End of Year School Concert. The children all did a marvellous job coming up with the songs and the moves for their performance. As with all things in preschool, it’s really been about the journey, not the destination. There was, however, eager anticipation and excitement about the bus trip to North’s on Friday during the day and spending time practising their performance on the big stage, so the destination was also a big part of it.

We were all so proud of the children on Friday night. Congratulations to all the children for taking part, even if they didn’t make it onto the stage. Thank you to Isabelle and Maya for the assistance they provided to us on the bus trip during the day to Norths.

Now the concert is over, we have another huge event coming up in preschool. The Annual Preschool Thank You Afternoon Tea is another highlight of the preschool year. Stay tuned for a confirmation of the date in the next couple of days!

We are halfway through the year we will be focusing on changes and transitions in preschool. Who will be back in preschool as and Elder next year, who will be going to primary at Currambena and who will be attending schools elsewhere?

Thank you to everyone that returned the permission form for the Digital Transition to School Document. I will place a copy of these in each child’s Storypark as well.
