Preschool News Week 5 Term 3

Hello everyone,

What a fun week we’ve had in preschool. The weather has been glorious providing lots of opportunities for outdoor play.

We headed back to Kimberley playground on Monday after running a vote in morning meeting. Despite the inclement weather it was a great morning of play. Spanish and craft have been enjoyed by all as was the book parade on Friday. The children enjoyed it so much we had our own preschool book parade later in the morning to ensure a late comer didn’t miss out.

Unfortunately, there’s illness about in preschool. Whilst we are doing everything we can prevent the spread of infection to others, keeping unwell children at home where they can rest, and recover is the best way to prevent others from becoming sick.

We have Lane Cove Fire and Rescue visiting preschool next Friday at 10am. If your child doesn’t attend on a Friday, you are most welcome to come in and participate in the visit. We’re also planning on joining primary for a whole school excursion to the Australian Museum which has tentatively booked for Thursday 19th September. We’d love a few parents to assist us with supervision on the day.

As the days become warmer a friendly reminder that children need to bring a broad brimmed or legionnaire style hat to preschool each day they attend.

Love
