Preschool News: Week 2 Term 4

Hello everyone,

We kicked off the week with Bec offering some fun activities in Drama. Canteen is always a hit on Monday with the preschool children, especially when different variations of pasta are on the menu.

With Katrina away from preschool from Tuesday to Friday, the concert preps went ahead on a smaller scale, but there was still a lot of improvised dance rehearsals, and with Michael onboard Tuesday and Wednesday, we were fortunate to have a sing-along practice for our acoustic number.

Spanish with Carolina included a song about shapes. We had buddies on Tuesday and on Thursday we worked with paints and made some spectacular marbling pictures with Crafty in art. Friday was the whole school meeting in Jess’s room and then ice blocks.

As always, the games and group times kept us all busy. We also had a celebration on Friday for one of the children’s birthdays, finishing our week with some delicious cupcakes.

Don’t forget next Week Vision Screening will be at Preschool on Wednesday. If you would like your child’s vision screened, please remember to fill in a permission form. If your child doesn’t normally attend next Wednesday and you’d like their eyes tested your welcome to come in as close as possible to 9:30 to have this done.
