Preschool News Week 10 Term 3

Dear Families,

As we come to the close of another busy and fun term, we would like to wish all our children and families a happy and restful break. We’ve had a wonderful last week of term, filled with energy, creativity, and connection. The children have engaged in a wide range of play experiences both indoors and outdoors, with a strong focus on collaboration and imagination. They have enjoyed opportunities for music, movement, and games that strengthened their social skills and confidence, as well as creative arts and craft activities that allowed them to explore new materials and techniques. Throughout the week, the children also spent time reflecting on their learning and celebrating their achievements across the term. We are so proud of how they continue to grow in independence, curiosity, and care for their peers.

Looking ahead, next term will be a very special one. We will begin preparations for our end-of-year school concert, where the children will have the chance to showcase their abilities and creativity. We will also host our Thank You Afternoon Tea to acknowledge the wonderful contributions of families, educators, and our community. In addition, we will be supporting the children through important changes and transitions. Some children will continue in preschool next year, stepping into their role as Preschool Elders, while others will be moving on to Currambena Primary or to other schools, and we will celebrate this exciting milestone together.

We wish all families a safe, relaxing holiday and look forward to welcoming everyone back next term for more shared adventures in learning and play.
