Minutes of School Meeting

Chaired by Max and Siana (Sarah’s class)

• Responsible elders in the school by Sarah M: A reminder that when playing with children who are younger than yourself, to be mindful of using appropriate language and behaviour. Younger children are influenced by older children and we need to always be modelling appropriate language and behaviour with each other.
• Watch by preschool: A watch was found and claimed.
• Weapons by Grace: Grace wanted to ask if she could make a model of a weapon (as an art project) to accompany her project. Someone asked if it was necessary to make a weapon, could something else be made. Grace wanted a vote and the majority of the school voted “yes”. Wendy added that the ‘weapon’ would not be used for anything other than an accompanying piece for her PIP presentation.
• Mini Concert by Wendy: Wendy wanted to let everyone know there will be a mini concert in 3 weeks time and anyone wanting to perform to please let her know.
• School start by Kuru: A reminder that school starts at 9:00 am. NOT after 9:00 am
• Tuesday’s Guitar group played 2 songs for the school who sung along.
