Minutes of School Meeting Friday 6th June 2025

CHAIR PEOPLE: Harriet and Kitty

1. Congratulations by Wendy.
Wendy congratulated all the performers who played, danced or sang in the mini concert on Tuesday. Congratulations and thanks to all the audience members too for being so polite and appreciative.

2. Chromebook charging by Faith.
Faith suggested some ways we could manage the recharging of the new chrome books while there are not enough chargers to charge them all at once. Sarah said that a new charging station has been ordered and so the problem will be solved.

3. Screen by Meg.
The Ladybirds’ room has a new screen which is not attached to a wall so please keep the class agreements about walking inside and calm behaviour so the screen is kept safe.

4. Charging iPads by Emma.
Please remember to charge iPads when you return them.

5. Soup Day by Lucia, Olive and Susan.
Lucia, Olive and Susan wanted to know if the school would we like to have another soup day? The meeting voted yes and there were some volunteers to help make the soup.

6. Summerhill Day by Crafty.
There will be lantern making in the craft room on Summerhill Day. If you’d like your parents to come and be part of it, sign up for a time.

7. School Motto by Grayson.
Grayson asked if the school might want to have a school motto and he showed two examples. After some discussion, the meeting voted that we would like to have a motto and people will make some suggestions.

8. Lanterns by Crafty.
The final vote was for a Loch Ness Monster giant lantern so that’s what we’ll make in Art week.

9. Animations by Crafty.
Crafty showed the meeting several animations which were great fun.

Meeting adjourned. Sustaining time. Wendy’s class stay to help pack up Amelia’s room.
