Minutes of School Meeting Friday 29.8.25
CHAIRPEOPLE: MICHAEL AND JASPER
- Acknowledgement of Cameraygal Country by Michael and Jasper.
- Light switches and locks by Wendy. Please leave lights on in toilets and keep wet hands away from light switches. Please also use the top lock now installed on the doors.
- Sustaining by Wendy. A reminder that today is the first day of new groups for sustaining so make sure to talk first to make sure the new people understand the job.
- Sand by Ella. A reminder not to throw sand. Keep it in the sandpit.
- Jacaranda tree by Ayan. Ayan asked the meeting to vote about putting some sort of barrier around the jacaranda tree so that handballs don’t get lost under the decking. The meeting voted yes and some suggestions were made about what to use for this.
- WIPD by Mabel. Mabel spoke about Wear it Purple Day which celebrates diversity and inclusion. She introduced Louie and Kitty to read a story for the whole school called “A House for Everyone” by Jo Hirst.
- Cleaning brushes by Crafty. Please clean brushes properly if you use them outside the craft room. Some brushes are having to be thrown away because the paint has dried on them and they are now useless.
