Meg’s Class Week 8 Term 3

Hi everyone,

This week in Maths, we revisited the topic of data, focusing on how we collect, represent, and interpret information. We enjoyed exploring different ways to make sense of data through various games and activities.

In English, we became architects by reading stories about castles, then designing, building, and justifying our own. We explored different features of castles and discussed why they were used. The children created detailed drawings with labels, constructed physical models, and explained and justified their design choices.

In Sport, we focused on refining some of our fundamental movement skills, with a particular emphasis on hand-eye coordination.

Wednesday was Summerhill Day! Despite the masses of rain, the school was bustling and busy with so many fun activities. A special shout out to Oli as well as Stevie and Deeba, who ran their own activity sessions!

With love,

Meg
