Meg’s Class Week 10 Term 3

This week we wrapped up our discussions on how symbols can communicate meaning without using words. We also revised and practised many of the skills we have learned throughout the year to support our problem-solving in mathematics.

In STEM, we had a wonderful time creating wings. We explored butterfly wings in particular, focusing on their symmetry and shapes.

This week we also wished Archana the very best on her next adventure. As an important member of The Ladybirds, Archana has supported us all in our first year of school, and we are so grateful for the time, care, and effort she has given. On Friday afternoon, the children presented her with a card they had signed before sharing their final hugs with one of our much-loved classroom assistants.
