Meg’s Class: Term 4 Week 3

Hi everyone,

This week in Maths, we continued our work with fractions, focusing on using percentages of an amount to determine the whole.

In English, we explored a range of language techniques. We will continue building on this throughout the term to support students as they transition to high school, where English often focuses on analysing texts and examining how authors use language to communicate ideas and influence readers.

We have almost finished our production script, and rehearsals will be in full swing over the coming weeks.

On Tuesday, we had our first swimming session. We will be swimming again this coming week. Please ensure your child wears their swimmers to school and brings a towel, a change of clothes, and suitable shoes that are comfortable to walk in and easy to put back on after swimming.

A reminder that our Parent Camp Meeting will be held this Thursday at 6:00 pm. If your child will be attending camp, or if you are interested in helping as a driver, you are required to attend this meeting.
