Meg’s Class: Term 1 Week 10
Hi everyone,
WOW – what a term it has been! This week, we spent time reflecting on our journey as a class. We discussed our favourite moments, the highlights and challenges, and how we can continue to grow and improve as a group.
Over the past few days, the children have shown great maturity and honesty in their reflections, which has been fantastic to see. I look forward to continuing to support them in developing these important skills.
Here are some of the children’s reflections, on our first term as a class:
“I really enjoyed working on my maths. We looked at a bunch of new options on how to do addition and subtraction, which is way easier and quicker! It is a much more efficient way. I also LOVED camp! I loved spending time with my friends and learning how to shoot an arrow in archery. The food was amazing and I liked the outdoors experience of sleeping on a less comfortable bed haha.” – Stella
“I LOVED Camp! Camp was sooooo fun! My favourite activity was crate stacking. Crate stacking is where you stack crates and climb them. I also really liked abseiling. It was really fun. It was a bit scary at the start but was okay once you were over the edge.” -Ayaan
“The term was really fun, but there definitely was some craziness at the end! Overall, I think that it was a really good term! I really enjoyed working on my What Matters Project. We had lots of fun planning it on Canva! I also really liked working on my PIP and am looking forward to presenting it next term.” – Alana
“Some things I enjoyed were swimming and painting my What Matters artwork! I really enjoyed learning how to use Canva. It was really confusing at the start but I got help and I worked out some really cool things!” – Michael
I hope you all have a fantastic break!
See you next term, refreshed and ready to learn!
With love,
Meg
