Jess’ Group Week 2 Term 4

Dear parents,

This week, with much excited anticipation, we began our weekly swimming. The children had a brilliant time and clearly loved being back in the water together. Thank you to Vicky and Ziggy for joining us to help with supervision.

Drama lessons began with Bec and she started with some characterisation work around the play. In craft, costume making has begun and the children are very excited. The play itself has not progressed very far yet as I think the kids are stuck on the development of the plot which is a little contusing. But, there’s still a few weeks to go…so wish us luck!

The highlight of our week was of course the eyeball dissection lesson with Anne. There was a range of emotions in the room but overall, I was blown away at the level of participation and the way the children engaged. Anne commented to me that the children’s ability to absorb information was truly impressive and rivalled some university students!

Unfortunately, we ran out of time for questions and so Anne has volunteered her time once again to follow up. Thank you Anne!
