Jess and Susans Class Week 9 Term 4

Dear Parents,

As we share this final newsletter entry, Susan and I want to say a heartfelt thank you for a wonderful year. It has been our privilege to teach your gorgeous children and to watch them grow in their knowledge, skills and independence. We’ve loved spending these last few celebratory days with them as they sparkle with excitement for the holidays and celebrations ahead.

We’ve had such fantastic adventures together this year, from horse riding and museum visits to school camp and our “space exploration” in the planetarium. We’ve enjoyed lantern night, our adult social, and of course, our visits to The Diddy. Planning for next year is already underway, with the fun and explorations to continue.

A huge thank you to all of you for supporting our little classroom community: for looking out for one another, volunteering your time, checking in with Susan and I, and truly living our community-based philosophy.

Lastly, with love and admiration, we say a big goodbye to Wendy (although not really goodbye!) as she heads into new adventures of her own. What a remarkable thing it is to dedicate yourself to a community like Currambena. It simply wouldn’t be what it is without you. Thank you!
