Jess and Susan’s class Week 1 Term 2

Dear parents,

It’s been a fun and busy start to the term.

On the very first day back, we finished off our ‘Water’ unit of work with Wendy’s class with all the children presenting their built models to the class. Not everyone had a complete or working version of their idea but that was okay and it gave those children more to reflect on in the written part of the task.

Congratulations to all the children for finishing their PIPs and to those who presented them on Thursday. I heard everyone did a wonderful job.

We started a new class novel (only the prologue so far) called ‘Leo and Ralph’ by Peter Carnavas which explores themes of friendship, self-discovery and acceptance… and of course space! It should accompany some of the work we’re doing this term very nicely.

We really need drivers for our excursion to go ahead on Tuesday. If you can help out please get in touch ASAP.
