APDEC – from Wendy

Hi everyone.

I have had an utterly amazing week at APDEC in Indonesia, meeting inspiring educators, visiting beautiful schools and making connections with teachers and students from all over the Asia-Pacific region. I am so grateful to Currambena Council for making this possible.

Chris Rochester and I, with Chris Price and Cecelia, spoke to the group about Currambena and its journey over 57 years. Conference participants were very interested in our longevity as a school and wanted to know how we have kept to our ideals over this time.

Chris R. ran a very well attended session where he showed examples of our Currambena kids’ art and screened the Banana Film for a very appreciative audience.

I’m looking forward to sharing more details with our Currambena community when I am back at school next week.
