Amelia’s Class Week 9 Term 3

Hi everyone,

We are counting down to the last days of term. I cannot believe how quickly this term has gone! I know we all say that, but this term particularly seemed to disappear in no time.

I can’t seem to say this enough about my class, but I am so proud and impressed with their adaptability, resilience, and positivity through every challenge or change that has been thrown at them this year. Our bohemian classroom has been responded to with excitement and a sense of ownership, with the children making their own agreements that have been hung up around the space, as well as drawings for decoration! We do not have many more days in the term to get through, and at this stage our days will look like the following:

Monday: Jess’ class will be out on an excursion, so they have kindly offered for us to use their room once they have left. Our PIP presentations will be at 1.30pm, so we will have the projector to display these.

Tuesday: Bohemian classroom for most of the day! The forecast shows no rain and the sun out on Tuesday.

Wednesday: Our excursion to Tambourine Bay. Thank you to our volunteers that are joining us on the walk and those that are organising the BBQ.

Thursday: Bohemian classroom for most of the day! The forecast shows no rain and lovely warm temperatures at 25 degrees. Don’t forget hats packed and sunscreen applied in the mornings!

Friday: Free friday so all spaces are available to the children. We will do our class movie in the TBU room.

On Thursday last week we also our had our Natural Disasters incursion with Meg’s class. The children seemed to absolutely loved it, and my group particularly liked showing off their knowledge from their learning over the term.
