Amelia’s Class Week 4 Term 4
Hi all,
I hope you have all had a lovely week and are enjoying the much warmer weather. The children have been quite diligent with wearing hats and putting on sunscreen which is great to see and we will continue encouraging them to do so.
We have some very special new additions to the class thank to Oscar’s mum, Jane. We have a beautiful aquarium with guppies and catfish. One of our catfish (who has yet to be seen!) is funnily named Raffy. Our other catfish has been named by the class: Toastie. The children have had so many questions and enthusiasm about their new class pets and we will do some closer learning about them once the school concert has finished. Make sure you come in and have a look!
We have been working hard at our class play but it feels so incredibly rushed and busy this year. The children have almost finished with their costumes thanks to the amazing work of Crafty, Zio, and Abby (Celeste’s mum), and our props are now complete as well. We played some fun drama games to warm up for our dramatic sessions, and you can see below the different interpretations of the children when asked to recreate the Harbour Bridge using only their bodies.
I hope you had a lovely weekend!
