Amelia’s Class Week 1 Term 4

Welcome back everyone!

A big, big thank you to Sarah and her class for welcoming us in on the first day back of the term. We had a lot of fun spending time together throughout the day, playing at the secret garden and reading together.

Myself and the class group have been on a high from Wednesday after finally returning to our classroom. We had a joyous day on Friday when we celebrated our return with a class party, enjoyed with ice cream cones, fresh fruit, balloons, glow sticks, music, and dancing of course!

This term, we are running our PIPs a little differently. The elders have paired up with a junior and will be acting as their teacher to create a Google slide presentation together. On Thursday, they chose their groups and most have picked their topic to research as well. I am excited to see how the elders manage the responsibility of passing on their knowledge to their peers.

We also discussed and voted to learn about biology. One key area I would like to explore is nutrition and energising our brains for learning.
