The Enrolment Process
The school holds information sessions regularly and parents interested in the school are strongly encouraged to attend. To book into the next one, ring the school administrator or coordinator.
After attending an information sessions, interested parents should arrange an interview with the teacher of the appropriate class. The interview is very important to ensure parents have a full understanding of Currambena’s educational philosophy and the school can meet the needs of the child. It is also essential that the interviewing teacher meets the child at this stage.
If, after this, everyone is confident that there is a good match between the school and the child, parents will be invited to complete an application for enrolment and send it to the school with the required enrolment fee. This will ensure a place on the waiting list and the offer of enrolment as soon as space becomes available.
Children who have been offered a place at the school may wish to visit the class for all or part of a day. Prospective parents are also encouraged to visit classrooms during school time to get a sense of the way classes are run.
Registration
The application form is available from our office. It can also be downloaded in PDF format (you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read and print it).
Fees
Enrolment Fee: 50% of one term’s primary fees per child. This is not refundable.
Maintenance levy: Each family is required to do 10 hours per term of building/garden maintenance, assistance in the classrooms, committe meetings, library work or pay $200 per term (See Maintenance Policy for more detail)
Annual injury insurance: $10 per child
Primary fees: $1420 per term
There is also a $80 excursion and book fee payable each term

There is an administration fee of $100 for fees not paid by the due date without prior arrangement.
