Hi Everyone.
So much to talk about this week, I barely know where to begin. Firstly, we farewelled our student teacher Ruby on Tuesday, it was lovely having her in the class and we all enjoyed having another persons energy in the room.
Secondly, a list of thank you’s: thank you to Robert (Ygraine’s father) and Michaela (Bastian’s mother) for the stationary donations this week. Thank you to Mironne (Jacob’s mother) who washed and donated new towels to our classroom. An ongoing thank you to Lisa (Luke’s mother) who does reading with the class every Friday, and Veronica (Kiran’s mother) who does maths activities with the class every Thursday. Also thank you to Ron (Milly’s dad) and Marcus (Bastian’s dad) who helped erect the beginnings of the tree house last Friday.
Next Monday is “Peace Day” and “350 Day”, please wear white t-shirts for our singing and photos.
Next week is our excursion to the Observatory, there are3 more spaces for parents who would like to come and help. Please let me know a.s.a.p. so that we can start to organise ourselves. We are starting to take orders for dinner as we plan to pre-order and then walk up to get food. Please come and find out what your child has ordered so that they can bring the money in before the day so that I can make sure we have everything we need. Please make sure you add an extra few dollars for a drink also. We will be leaving school at 5:30 ish to be ready to go at 6:15 at the observatory and we will be back at 8:15 so please be here to pick up your child then.
Lastly, I will be away this Friday and Michael will be in the class instead. So see you all next Monday. Have a great weekend!
