Hi everyone
This is a mad last minute write up so please excuse the style:
- Friday night social- come in at 6pm to have a laugh and farewell Willem and Luuk. Please bring a plate to share and rug up!
- We have begun our Aboriginal Studies to coincide with the Laura trip. We have booked an excursion to Taronga Zoo for Tuesday 23 June so that we can continue our study of the native animals we have chosen as our totems and to take advantage of their ‘Animals of the Dreaming’ presentation. Have a look in the purple room for how we are exploring totem animals, and check out the totem poles outside our classroom.
- Literacy studies- we are exploring the letter m, blends, exclamation marks and question marks and question words
- Numeracy- we have been working on numbers, place value, addition and subtraction and multiplication
- Nits are back- please do all you can to rid these critters from our classroom. To break the cycle, it would be great if everybody could address this this weekend so that hopefully we can be nit free on Monday morning.
- More egg cartons would be greatly appreciated- a painting session wiped them out
