Hi all!
We’ve made more changes to the classroom space as you no doubt have noticed. We have an improved craft area that is being well used and have moved the wrestling area, hopefully to make the purple room a quieter space where the kids can work when they want to.
Tomorrow we are going on our annual visit to Kinma. We will be taking a bus soon after 9:30am and hope to be back at school before 3pm. We’re looking forward to touching base with this important part of our wider community and we are sure the kids will have a fun and interesting day.
On Monday at 7pm we will go ahead with the planned information night. This is for our class only and is a great opportunity to have a chat about what is happening in our classroom and all of the great ideas that came out of the conference in NZ. We hope you can make it!
A request from staff meeting- it seems that the kitchen in our classroom may be being used after school hours and we are finding great piles of washing waiting for us some mornings. If you or your children are using the kitchen, please try as much as possible to wash up afterwards. Thanks very much!
Finally, it looks like we have nits in the school at the moment so please be vigilant in trying to track down the little rotters. Hopefully we can knock them over for a while.
