Casp Term 1 Week 9

CASP is proving very popular this term especially on Thursdays for some reason.  However we cannot supervise and are not licensed to look after more than 25 children so please add your child’s name to the CASP list far enough in advance so that you are not disappointed.

One more administrative thing. Can you please remember to sign your child out when you pick them up and also to say hello to one of us so that we can know your child has been safely picked up.

We have been doing many interesting things of late.
There has been lots of cooking going on with creations of lemonade, nachos and avocado dip. Also bigger cooking projects with cooking rice and chilli con carne.

There was great excitement when four tons of sand arrived last week with us watching the truck tip the fresh sand onto the ground. Then there followed lots of sand play.

We have been making cardboard glasses and also experimenting with making a simple popup book with a frog opening its mouth.

Outside there has been lots of tennis, handball, ping-pong, frisbees, and play with bouncy rubber balls.

Other inside activities have included story reading which is always popular and on one day we made our own money using coin rubbings.

We are on the lookout for more sports equipment. Racquets, balls, etc.  If you have anything that you would be happy to donate we would be grateful.

Love Colin, Sarah, Emma and Rowena.
