What this school needs is a bike rack….You knew something was missing, you just couldn’t put your finger on what it was.
I am in the process of putting the paperwork for school council to get approval for a bike rack. In the meantime there is a great fundraising opportunity to get the money together.
The City of Sydney is sponsoring an event called Super Tuesday.

The aim is to establish a reliable annual benchmark for bicycle commuting to allow those providing for bike riding to base their judgements on accurate, relevant and up to date information. If you have two hours on the 17th March (7 am to 9 am or 4 pm to 6 pm) to stand at a nominated spot around Lane Cove and count cyclists, then Bicycle NSW will give $50 to your nominated school/bike group or charity.
Yes! Free money. And you get a free green t-shirt too which you don’t need to donate to the school.
If just 5 of us do that we would get the money together for a bike rack – and might even have a little bit over to put towards a staff neck and shoulder massage facility. Not that they need it.
