Preschool Newsletter Week 8 Term 4

Hello Everyone

Wasn’t the Twilight Fair such an exciting day? Everyone seems to have had lots of fun, especially the children. Thank you to Judith and all the organisers who did such a fantastic job. It is an amazing amount of work requiring lots of organising, coordinating and hours spent working. THANK YOU!!

We are baking each day this week, preparing for the Preschool Afternoon Tea on Thursday from 2-3 pm. We have also been practising waiting on people and serving them their selection from the menu. We have also been talking a lot about how the afternoon is for our guests and we need to serve them first, before we get a turn to have afternoon tea. It’s a hard lesson, requiring patience and considering others before oneself, but very worthwhile!

We are having a big preschool clean up next week. Come and put your name next to the job you would like to do and then come and do the job! It’s as simple as that!

We are also finishing off all the journals for the children who are leaving preschool at the end of the year. Please look out for them in your child’s locker.

Next week is the last week of term with Thursday 11th December being the last day. School re-opens next year on Tuesday 3rd February 2009. The teachers will all be at school on Monday 2nd February 2009, but this is a pupil-free Coordination Day and CASP will not be open.

Lastly, would anyone like to have the mice for the holidays? Full instructions and food will be provided. Also, please look out for an old cook top and an old boat during the holidays. We would like to add them to the outside area.

Love from

Sue, Chris and Soo Jin
