Hello Everyone,
Well we didn’t have the fireworks but we did have earthmoving claps of thunder and a short burst of rain which just added to yet another fabulous CURRAMBENA TWILIGHT FAIR .
The food was sensational, all the stalls were really great value, the kids loved the various games and all the musical entertainment gave the school a huge buzz. Finishing the evening with jazz and good wine was really very decadent.
Yesterday I commandeered the services of my daughter to run shotgun as we staggered to the bank with the bags of money!!!. We will not know the final tally for another week or so when all the bills have been paid.
MANY MANY THANKS, to all those who worked so hard to pull the fair together and work the night through. A Special thanks to those resilient souls who were back at school on Sunday doing the very tedious task of clean-up!!!
To our fair coordinator Judith a big big thank-you. You have set the bar very high for our next coordinator! This is Judith’s last year as Alex is off to high school next, both will be missed.
2009 Currambena Calendar
Our very beautiful calendar with the theme of “play” is here in the office.
The selling cost is $15.00 and really they are gorgeous and would make great Xmas gifts.
We are also asking if people could take a bundle and ask their local butcher, grocer, newsagent etc if they could sell some for us.
If you think you can, please come and see me and I can put your name down and the number of calendars you want to take.
The whole purpose of this calendar is to get the name of Currambena spreading far and wide.

All fees on fee plans need to be paid-up by the end of term 11th December
