From Wendy,
Hi Everyone
We all had a fabulous camp last week. Many thanks to the parents who helped us. They were great. In spite of some drizzle, the weather was mostly OK and the many of the kids really challenged themselves on the different activities, from abseiling to the giant swing. I hope we’ll get some photos ready for this Newsletter.
We all enjoyed the performance by Lorin Nicholson yesterday. He was inspiring in many ways and his discussion of his disability, his blindness, links in with our support for the Paralympian, Matt Levy, to whom we have been writing letters of encouragement as he prepares for the selection trials in March.
Personal Interest Projects are beginning this week and we are working on Long Multiplication in Maths and written comprehension skills in English.
Thank you very much to the hard working Maintenance Team for all the sweeping and fixing yesterday, too. Great to get it all done before the rain last night!
Have a great week.
Love,
Wendy
