Welcome back after the summer holidays to a new term of the Currambena After School Program.
By now you should have indicated any permanent days you need for CASP this term and you should be invoiced for them this week. Permanent days are $13 per day. Casual days are $18 per day and billed at the end of term. For preschoolers picked up by 3:30 there is a short CASP which is $6 per day. If you need after school care for your child we are open from 2:30 to 6:30 each school day. Just write your child’s name in the book on the table in the hallway ( just in front of the office ).
Last week’s activities included lots of play with balls and racquets on the basketball court, many bodies going down the slippery dip, and turning straws into musical flutes.
Our staff this term include:
- Sarah who is a swimming instructor and is completing her degree in Primary Teaching.
- Julia who works as a kinesiologist and is completing her Masters in Primary Teaching, with an Honours thesis in socio-emotional development.
- Colin who has been a Currambena parent for 4 years and has a degree in Steiner Education
- Victoria who has worked here for several years and is leaving in a few weeks to study nursing.
Children and parents are welcome to drop into CASP anytime and say hello.

Bamboo poles for tent making. ( Probably need over 2m long. We are happy to come and cut down if needed. )
